ATempora is a CraXittude collection that reflects on the meaning and our perception of time.

More than a category in the continuum, time is a burden when we report ourselves to it. It is never enough.

Time shifts and bends based on our perception of it. A moment is too short or it is taking too long. Can we change the present moment to make it lasting? 

Scholars have always been intrigued by measurement and perception of time.  We perceive time as being divided into past, present and future, but can we tell it for sure or just blindly acknowledge what we have been taught?

Two main theories deal with the notion of time. The first is called "shifting now" or A- theory of time, forever changing present, where moments come into the spotlight as time flows unidirectionally. In this assumption here and now is the only reality experienced. There is nothing in the future. Time is experienced as a change of states caused by events.

The second, B theory says that the flow of time is an illusion. Past, present and future are equally the same because we occupy a specific time and space. Time is not a linear flow of events, but a series of them happening in the present moment.

Therefore time is not the same for each of us. One experiences time differently from the other. Our independence from the measurement of time make us what we truly are. And may trigger what we choose to wear. Clothing indifferent at past, present or future. Clothing different. Timeless and tenseless.
